We began our business in Kenora, Ontario and ran both stores until early 2004, at which time the Kenora location was closed. In early 2006, our status as a PADI 5-star Dive Resort was enhanced further when our shop was awarded the designation of PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center (IDC). |  |

Effective April 1 2008, our store hours are:| Monday through Wednesday: 9:30 - 5:30 | Thursday and Friday: 10:00 - 6:00 | ||
| Saturday: 10:00 - 4:00 | Sunday: Closed |
Pool sessions are Thursday evenings at Sargent Park Pool (effective April 1 2008). Please be there for 6:45 pm, with in-water time from 7:45 to 8:45 pm.
Diver Training & PADI Education
As a PADI-authorized training facility, courses are run for every level in
Recreational Diving, from beginner and Open Water Certification to DiveMaster. We are also able to provide training in
Tec Diving. Of course, we carry all necessary student manuals and PADI Crew-Packs for the courses we teach.
UNDERWORLD has also partnered with PADI in leveraging the power of the Internet to make available
PADI eLearning for the academic component of the Open Water Diver course.
Our professional affiliations extend to DAN - the Divers Alert Network. As a DAN Business Member, we can assist you with DAN membership and advise on DAN Travel Insurance. DAN is also key to getting information in specialized areas of diver safety, and when addressing medical issues of concern to the diving community.
